Terms of Service

Last updated: February 18, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thveisionlab.com and the Vision Lab platform (together, the "Service") operated by Vision Lab, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (800 West El Camino Real, Suite 300, Mountain View, CA 94043). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Vision Lab provides AI-assisted video labeling and training-data generation for robotics and vision engineering teams. The Service allows customers to upload factory and warehouse video footage, configure annotation parameters, and receive labeled datasets for use in training robot vision models. These Terms apply to all use of the Service, including participation in the Vision Lab early-access program.

2. Use of the Service

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Service.
  • The Service is designed for professional use by engineering teams working on robotics, computer vision, and industrial automation. You agree to use it for lawful business purposes consistent with this intended use.
  • You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • You may not upload video footage or other content to which you do not hold the necessary rights, or that contains personal data of individuals whose information you are not authorized to process for this purpose.
  • All use of the platform is subject to the labeled-frame limits of your active service tier. Exceeding a frame cap pauses labeling until the next billing cycle or an upgrade.
  • You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all platform software, annotation models, user interfaces, and documentation, is owned by Vision Lab, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for its intended purpose during your active subscription period.

You retain all ownership rights in your uploaded video footage and in the annotation outputs generated from that footage. The Company claims no ownership over your video content or your labeled training datasets.

4. Customer Content and Data Processing

You are responsible for all video footage, configuration data, and other content you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit such content, including rights covering any individuals who may appear in the footage.

You grant the Company a limited license to receive, store, process, and return Customer Content solely as necessary to provide the annotation service you have requested and to fulfill these Terms. This license ends when your content is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Company will not use your Customer Content to train, fine-tune, or improve Vision Lab's own AI models, or to provide annotation services for any other customer, without your explicit prior written consent. Customer Content is processed in per-customer isolated storage environments.

You are responsible for ensuring that your upload of footage and your use of the resulting labeled datasets comply with all applicable laws, including any laws governing the collection, processing, or use of footage depicting identifiable individuals in your jurisdiction.

5. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VISION LAB, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANNOTATION OUTPUTS WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT LABELED DATASETS PRODUCED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR TRAINING RESULT FOR YOUR ROBOT VISION MODELS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VISION LAB, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vision Lab, Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your Customer Content, or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including any rights of individuals captured in footage you submit.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform ends and Customer Content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10).

9. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

You and Vision Lab, Inc. each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

Exception. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction located in California, USA for intellectual-property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.
